i am trying to start a new blog. have not quite figured out where the comments go. hope to figure it out soon.

remodeling storage room

i have decided to add two hunter fans in the ceiling.

after the beams are installed i will cut the ceiling squares to lay on top of the beams. i will paint them before i put them up.




as you can see on this photo the sheet rock is up and painted.we painted it a light yellow to match the paint in our kitchen.

here is a diagram of the beams. there will be 18 squares.


i have installed some of the beams.

i bought myself some 2 by 4's and i am going to make some beams for the ceiling. some of these beams will be 12 feet long. it took me a while to find straight 2 by 4's that long.

i am starting to run some wiring for wall sockets and switches in the ceiling of the den.
